Transportation

By plane

Paris has two main international airports:

  • Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG)
    ➤ Direct access to RER B line to central Paris (approx. 45 min)
    ➤ Stop at Châtelet–Les Halles, then Métro line 11 to Arts et Métiers (2 stops)

  • Paris Orly (ORY)
    ➤ Take the Orlyval automatic shuttle to Antony, then RER B to Châtelet–Les Halles
    ➤ From there, take Métro line 11 to Arts et Métiers

Both airports offer extensive domestic and international connections with regular shuttle services and taxi access to central Paris.

By train

Paris is served by multiple high-speed TGV and international train lines:

  • From Paris Gare du Nord (Eurostar, Thalys):
    ➤ RER B southbound to Châtelet–Les Halles, then Métro line 11

  • From Paris Gare de Lyon / Montparnasse / Austerlitz / Est:
    ➤ Métro or RER connections available to Châtelet–Les Halles or Réaumur–Sébastopol

Estimated journey times to Paris:

  • Brussels: 1h25

  • London: 2h20

  • Frankfurt: 3h50

  • Lyon: 2h

  • Bordeaux: 2h15

  • Marseille: 3h10

By metro

The CNAM is ideally located between two metro stations:

  • Arts et Métiers
    ➤ Served by Métro lines 3 and 11
    ➤ Exit at “Rue Réaumur” side for direct access to the CNAM entrance

  • Réaumur–Sébastopol
    ➤ Served by Métro lines 3 and 4
    ➤ 3-minute walk to CNAM

💡 Metro lines run from 5:15 AM to 12:30 AM (extended hours on weekends)

By Car/Taxi

While public transport is strongly recommended, taxis and VTCs (Uber, Bolt, etc.) can drop you off at:

🅿️ There are several public parking lots nearby (limited availability):

  • Parking Temple – 132 rue du Temple

  • Parking Beaubourg – 31 rue Beaubourg

⚠️ Note: As CNAM is in a central low-emission zone, access may be restricted to certain vehicle types.

On Foot or by Bike

The CNAM is within walking distance from central Paris districts such as:

  • Le Marais

  • Les Halles

  • République

🚲 Multiple Vélib’ bike-sharing stations are available nearby. A Vélib’ dock is located at Rue du Vertbois / Rue Saint-Martin.
